We're excited to share that JetBlue Ventures has been acquired by SKY Leasing, a leading aviation investment manager and long-term JetBlue partner.

This transaction will usher in the next era of growth for JetBlue Ventures, unlocking new strategic advantages to support founders and scale game-changing technologies by leveraging SKY’s deep industry relationships, global reach, and access to capital, while also continuing to work closely with JetBlue as a strategic partner. Since our founding in 2016, we’ve invested in 55 early-stage startups and made over 40 follow-on investments across the travel, hospitality, and transportation industries, resulting in eight exits.

This next chapter will be defined by new opportunities, and we’re looking forward to continuing this trajectory of success by investing in emerging enterprise technology and frontier tech solutions across the travel and transportation ecosystem!

We invest in and partner with early-stage startups that are reshaping the future of travel and transportation. Founded in 2016 as JetBlue’s corporate venture capital arm, we’ve invested in more than 50 companies across the travel, hospitality, and transportation sectors.

In May 2025, we became part of SKY Leasing—a premier aviation asset manager with relationships spanning over 100 airlines, OEMs, and MROs—strengthening our ability to drive innovation across the global travel ecosystem.
